The radiance emanating from Yuan Wuyi shone across the entire Geng Metal Secret Realm.

“It’s finally over.”

Recalling the inhuman torment of the past centuries, the monkey fur on Yuan Wuyi’s body bristled in terror.

His cultivation had already broken through the Taiyi realm, reaching the level of a loose immortal in the Gold Path at seventy percent completion. The mysterious golden light within the pearl played a crucial role in this achievement.

Under the pressure of the two demonic hearts, the golden light was perfectly absorbed by his bones, allowing him to continually endure the refining of Geng Metal essence and maximize its absorption. Yet, as time went on, the effects of the Geng Metal essence gradually diminished until it became ineffective for him.

The blood-red and golden fur on his body grew even brighter, and a new aura of decisive ferocity emerged.

At this moment, Yuan Wuyi was completely unclothed, his robes long since destroyed by the relentless wash of Geng Metal essence.

To have his body refined by Geng Metal essence and reach the seventy percent Gold Path Taiyi loose immortal realm, his increase in strength was unquestionable.

The five elements represent different attributes; the Gold Path stands for offense, its combat power the highest among the elements.

“If I’m not mistaken, that should be the way out.”

Yuan Wuyi pointed into the air, and a tunnel appeared—identical to the one he entered through. This was the response from the Geng Metal golden core within him to the secret realm.

He followed the tunnel back to his previous entry point.

“You can come out on your own now,” said the Holy Mother of Golden Spirit.

She had calculated that Yuan Wuyi would soon emerge from seclusion and had prepared ahead of time to enter the secret realm and bring him out. What surprised her was that Yuan Wuyi could freely enter and exit the Geng Metal Secret Realm, which was beyond her expectations.

“Master, earlier I…” Yuan Wuyi began, recounting the golden light within the mysterious pearl to the Holy Mother, confident that her profound knowledge would reveal much.

“So you absorbed the essence of Geng Metal?”

“You can withstand the essence, and your physical body has been greatly strengthened.”

“That must be… Geng Metal Marrow.”

As she spoke, a hint of astonishment flickered in her eyes.

The Geng Metal Marrow was essential for cultivating the Geng Metal body. Without it, even if one managed to forge such a body, it would soon be paralyzed by the murderous aura it emitted.

“I originally intended to prepare Geng Metal Marrow for you, but it seems you already possess it.”

“Master… I have no clothes at the moment,” Yuan Wuyi said, waiting patiently until she finished speaking before voicing his concern.

Though his monkey fur concealed much, being unclothed still felt odd.

The Holy Mother smiled wryly and dressed him in a new set of robes.

“Your former acquired defensive spirit armor was refined by me and is now a supreme-grade defensive treasure. Its water element has been replaced with a gold element, better suited to your Geng Metal golden core.”

A golden chainmail appeared in her hand. The original Surging Wave Armor and Water Spirit Blade had been taken away, and now the armor was more perfect than before. Yuan Wuyi thought the Water Spirit Blade must have been even more powerful in the past.

“There is a reward granted by the Jade Emperor waiting for you in your residence. You should return and visit Xiao Yu as well; your seclusion lasted over two hundred days,” the Holy Mother reminded him.

“Master, then I will take my leave.”

After more than two centuries of arduous cultivation, Yuan Wuyi’s progress had been swift and unstoppable. Now, with the Ground Traversing Golden Light, he could travel three thousand miles in a breath.

Halfway there, he realized he had forgotten to ask the location of his residence.

“That’s the one.”

A middle-aged man in splendid armor rode a celestial steed leisurely forward, accompanied by two servants ahead.

Yuan Wuyi blocked their path, his aura intimidating the steed into paralysis.

“How dare you block the way of Lord Wuqiu Star!” one servant shouted at Yuan Wuyi.

Yuan Wuyi ignored the servants, stepping directly in front of Wuqiu Star, standing atop the celestial steed’s head, and grasping his throat with one hand, slowly lifting him.

“Tell me, where is the residence granted to the Divine Ape General by the Jade Emperor?”

He executed these actions in an instant, leaving Wuqiu Star no time to react, though his lack of strength was also a factor.

“You… you—”

“Speak.” Yuan Wuyi tightened his grip, causing Wuqiu Star’s legs to thrash helplessly.

“The Divine Ape General’s residence is in that direction, just fly straight and you’ll see it,” the servant hurriedly answered. It wasn’t a vital secret, and they had no wish to risk Wuqiu Star’s life; if anything happened to him, they would surely be punished.

Receiving the directions, Yuan Wuyi tossed Wuqiu Star aside and vanished with a flash of golden light.

“Outrageous!”

Wuqiu Star, accustomed to privilege, was shaken by the sudden threat. Only after Yuan Wuyi left did he come to his senses.

“To think that I was threatened over a mere residence!”

“You get out as well,” he shouted, shoving his two servants away and angrily riding off.

The servants had no choice; they were born to serve.

In just a few breaths’ time, Yuan Wuyi arrived before a grand mansion.

“The Divine Ape General’s Mansion.”

The residence before him was far grander than his own former palace, and four celestial soldiers stood guard outside.

“Is… is that the General?” one whispered.

“Hurry and inform the Madam, the General has returned!”

Yuan Wuyi approached the gates, uncertain how to introduce himself, when the guards recognized him.

“How do you know me?” he asked the three remaining guards.

“General, we serve under the Nine Luminary Star Lord, assigned here to your mansion. The Star Lord gave us your portrait and instructed us all to remember your face, hence our recognition.”

“Oh? So you are my people, then?” Yuan Wuyi was reassured by the Star Lord’s arrangements.

“Yes, General,” the guard replied respectfully.

As Yuan Wuyi chatted with the guards, the one sent to report returned.

“The Madam invites you to enter on your own.”

“Oh, I understand.”

Yuan Wuyi strode into the mansion, taking the opportunity to admire his new residence.

Rows of immortal willows stood opposite each other, and in the small lake of several dozen yards, various creatures played. The azure water set off the jade-green lotus leaves.

What caught Yuan Wuyi’s eye most was the graceful lady standing on the jade bridge at the lake’s center.

“No need to say more; Her Majesty has already spoken to me.”

Xiao Yu stopped Yuan Wuyi before he could speak, indicating he need not continue.

“All the rewards bestowed by the Jade Emperor are in the mansion. I will show you.”

Xiao Yu had shed her youthful innocence, now possessing the elegance of a noblewoman. As she took Yuan Wuyi’s hand, he felt it even more keenly.
