Chapter 096: Wilderness and Desolation (Part 2)
As everyone stepped out of the cabin, they were met with a landscape of towering mountains, their peaks in the distance still crowned with snow.
“Where is this place?” a woman shrieked.
Some men burst out laughing, exhilarated.
“Haha! There’s no one here. From now on, doesn’t that mean I’m in charge?” one declared gleefully.
“There are supplies on the plane. This is our kingdom!” another chimed in.
“Yes! We can enslave all the women!” This final remark came from the bald man.
The bald man glanced at Red Square, then at Zhao Feng.
“Kid, weren’t you arrogant before? Now you’re out of options!” he sneered.
Yet Zhao Feng’s face was expressionless, betraying neither fear nor hesitation. His gaze was deep, reminiscent of a starry sky.
Zhao Feng and Red Square exchanged a look, and in Red Square’s heart, a voice echoed.
“This is a good place, perfect for us to show our strength!”
“Hmph!” Red Square mentally retorted, “I’ve been holding back my anger for too long.”
Zhao Feng chuckled softly, “Soon you’ll have your chance.”
He turned to the bald man, “Let’s deal with this little nuisance first.”
The crowd, after a brief bout of panic, gradually regained their composure.
“How do we get out of here?”
“Yes, exactly!”
“Hurry and contact the outside! I don’t want to spend the night here!”
Everyone looked to the co-pilot.
“Co-pilot, please contact the outside world!” they urged.
The co-pilot shook his head coldly.
“Though I could reach out,” he said, “the device is broken.”
“The captain used to fly fighter jets. He knows about backup devices!”
Instantly, the passengers were energized.
“Wake the captain!”
“Yes, yes!”
The co-pilot’s gaze was icy; he had seen through their true faces. He took a deep breath. “The captain is unconscious. There’s nothing I can do.”
Over a hundred passengers turned pale with anger. They all pointed their accusations at Shen Hua.
“Hey! Treat the captain!”
“That’s right! Hurry!”
Shen Hua was stunned. He surveyed the crowd and realized each person’s eyes held a different meaning. Some sincerely hoped the captain would live, while others clearly wished for his death. Their hearts were not alike.
Those who wanted the captain gone were all the brawny men. Witnessing this, Shen Hua gave a cold laugh.
He turned to the co-pilot. “As I said, the captain’s heart failure is severe. He can’t be saved.”
The strong men exchanged knowing smiles. The co-pilot noted everything, aware of their intentions. But as a man of principle, he could not betray his conscience.
The co-pilot raised his voice, “Everyone, I’ll lead us to safety, but I need your cooperation!”
“Hmph!” The bald man snorted. “Don’t think I don’t know what you’re up to!”
The co-pilot frowned, “What do you think?”
The bald man grinned, “You’re thinking of enslaving everyone, because you’re the strongest.”
At this, the women in the group immediately grew fearful. In such a situation, it was the women who would suffer. They clustered together, seeking comfort in numbers.
The bald man eyed the beautiful women, especially the flight attendants with their long legs, and felt a rush of adrenaline.
He looked to the assembled men. Among them were scholars, businessmen, and a few rogues.
The bald man called out, “Gentlemen, this is wilderness. Who wants to team up with me to escape?”
“I do!” a man replied instantly.
He was long-haired, likely a musician. After he raised his hand, four men and one woman beside him did the same—clearly, they were a band.
“Ha!” The bald man laughed triumphantly, having gained six allies. He looked smugly at Zhao Feng, then at Xiao Min. “Let’s start with you two.”
He waved his hand. “Deal with the men first, then we enjoy ourselves!”
“Alright!”
“Exactly what I was thinking!” The female musician, her lips pierced with a stud and her makeup bold and exaggerated, laughed and quickly pulled out her phone. She began recording, eager to capture the moment.
The first musician who raised his hand said, “Make sure to record when we battle as teams!”
The female musician flashed an “ok” gesture. “Got it!”
All six band members were dressed in punk style, with dramatic makeup and long hair.
The bald man rubbed his hands together and strode toward Xiao Min.
Xiao Min retreated in fear.
The co-pilot sprang forward, blocking her. “What do you think you’re doing? Is there no law left?”
The bald man smirked, “Now, I am the law!”
The co-pilot’s face grew grim. “You’re welcome to try.”
“Try? I will,” came a voice—not from the bald man, but from someone else.
This person wore a black jacket and pants, with a hat obscuring his face.
The co-pilot frowned. “Brother, if you have any sense of justice, don’t join them.”
Now the bald man’s side had seven people, while the co-pilot stood alone. He could fight them, but it would be a struggle.
At this point, the women sensed danger and moved behind the co-pilot for protection.
He took a deep breath and reassured them, “Don’t be afraid. We have twenty or thirty people. Even if we’re women, we don’t have to fear them.”
Among the women were some as resolute as any man.
A short-haired flight attendant raised her arm and declared, “Yes, we shouldn’t be afraid!”
She was striking, clearly once a person of principle herself.
The two sides faced off with tension so thick it seemed a clash was imminent.
The bald man frowned. Though he had gathered seven allies, he realized a fight might not guarantee victory.
He hesitated, but then caught sight of Zhao Feng and Red Square standing apart.
He suddenly grinned. “Brothers, why bother with anyone else when we have such a prize right here?”
“Yes, yes!” his allies agreed, directing their gazes at Red Square.
Among them all, Red Square was undoubtedly the most dazzling. She stood at six feet tall, dressed in a scarlet dress, her snowy legs strong and powerful. Hers was the archetype of a woman with masculine charm—a striking contrast and unique allure.
Red Square’s lips curled with an enigmatic smile. She stepped forward, her expression playful. “Very well. I’ll play along with you.”
