Chapter 150: Sudden Change 1
"Hmm?"
The ninja frowned.
In broken Chinese, he asked, "What the hell are you doing here?!"
At that moment, the ninja drew a ninja blade and held it against Wang Dajiao's neck.
Trembling with fear, Wang Dajiao leaked a small puddle of yellowish liquid.
"Baka!"
The ninjas covered their noses in disgust and glared angrily at Wang Dajiao.
Even Zhao Feng's Yang Spirit instinctively pinched its nose in aversion.
Controlling Wang Dajiao, Zhao Feng spoke again, "I was tired of walking, so I'm resting here!"
"Hmm?"
The ninja frowned.
He looked at another ninja, "What kind of habit is this? Do all people from the Dragon Country have such strange habits?!"
The questioned ninja shook his head, "I don't know. Maybe this is just how they are!"
The ninja leader nodded and pressed the blade harder against Wang Dajiao's neck, "Now, let me ask you, where is Zhao Feng's house?!"
"Hahahaha!!"
Wang Dajiao laughed inwardly, *You little brat, you dared to talk back to me. Now you've really asked for trouble, haven't you?!*
However, Zhao Feng could perceive Wang Dajiao's every thought with a single intent.
Sensing what was on Wang Dajiao's mind, Zhao Feng let out a cold snort.
"Unrepentant to the end!"
Zhao Feng said casually.
Wang Dajiao was instantly shocked. She could actually hear Zhao Feng's voice echoing inside her own mind.
What was going on?!
Wang Dajiao felt as though she had run into a ghost.
She wanted to scream, but no sound came out.
Zhao Feng was in no mood to deal with these ninjas right now; his primary objective was to teach this Wang Dajiao a lesson.
Foul-mouthed, unruly, and aggressive. A quintessential village shrew!
Controlling Wang Dajiao's mouth, Zhao Feng said, "I am Zhao Feng's mother. What do you want with Xiaofeng?!"
The ninjas were momentarily stunned, and then they bared their white teeth in cruel smiles.
The ninja leader chuckled as he looked at Wang Dajiao, "Since you are Zhao Feng's mother, things will be much easier!"
At that moment, Wang Dajiao was anxious to the point of desperation. She desperately wanted to shout that she was not Zhao Feng's mother.
These people clearly came with malicious intent; who knew if they might kill her? Armed to the teeth as they were, they probably wouldn't hesitate to take a life.
The ninja leader snorted coldly, "Your son killed two or three hundred of our people in Japan. Would it be unreasonable if we killed you now?"
Hearing this, Wang Dajiao was utterly thunderstruck.
*"What?! Zhao Feng actually killed people? And two or three hundred of them?!"*
Terror gripped Wang Dajiao's heart.
Not just fear, but sheer, unadulterated terror.
Once again, she leaked some unidentifiable liquid.
"Baka!"
Enraged by her behavior, several ninjas drew their blades, preparing to end Wang Dajiao's life right then and there!
"Spare me! Mercy, please spare me!"
Suddenly, Wang Dajiao spoke out loud.
This time, it wasn't controlled by Zhao Feng, but her own genuine voice.
Wang Dajiao truly embodied the appearance of a terrified, panicking village shrew.
She scrambled up from the ground.
She prepared to drop to her knees with a thud, but she soon discovered that her legs simply refused to obey her.
Her body was once again out of her control.
Wang Dajiao's arms hung loosely by her sides, her feet planted slightly apart in a relaxed posture.
The ninjas frowned.
"What do you think you're doing?" the ninja leader demanded.
"Hehehe!" A strange, enigmatic smile appeared on Wang Dajiao's face.
"What are you laughing at?!" asked another ninja.
With a blank expression, Wang Dajiao gave a cold smile. "I want..."
"To kill all of you!"
"Boom!"
Wang Dajiao sprang up in a single, violent bound.
Weighing over two hundred pounds, she leaped three meters into the air.
The ninja leader was terrified. "A martial arts expert!!"
The other ninjas were equally shocked.
"It seems she really is Zhao Feng's mother! Zhao Feng is a martial arts expert, and his mother is one too!"
"Run!!"
A dozen ninjas scattered in panic, clutching their heads.
Yet, Wang Dajiao moved with terrifying agility.
She appeared beside a ninja, extended her right hand, and swiped gently.
"Slash!!"
A bloody line instantly appeared across the ninja's neck.
Wang Dajiao had killed a ninja with just her fingernails!!
"Ah!!"
"Aahhh!!"
Wang Dajiao screamed inside her mind. She had never witnessed such a bloody scene of slaughter in her life!
A wave of intense nausea washed over her, her legs shook uncontrollably, and she felt an overwhelming urge to vomit and defecate all at once.
However, this sensation lasted for only a fraction of a second before it was forcibly suppressed.
Of course, it was Zhao Feng's control over her body that made these physical reactions vanish.
Wang Dajiao's expression turned fierce once again.
She took a step forward and raised her razor-sharp fingernails.
"Slash!!"
Another ninja was pierced straight through the back.
"Urgh!!"
The running ninja slowly lowered his head, staring at the hand protruding through his chest.
Finally, he collapsed to the ground!
The slaughter continued, and Wang Dajiao's consciousness hovered on the brink of passing out from sheer terror.
Yet, no matter how hard she tried to make herself faint, she simply couldn't.
Her mind was forced to clearly perceive every single detail of her surroundings.
All dozen or so ninjas lay dead in pools of blood.
"Hmph!"
A man's cold snort echoed in Wang Dajiao's mind—the last sound she heard before she finally blacked out.
Looking at the corpses before him, Zhao Feng gently raised Wang Dajiao's right hand.
"Poof!"
A cluster of green flames materialized.
The sun had finally dipped below the horizon, plunging the earth into twilight gloom.
The green flames flickered eerily like ghost fires.
Zhao Feng gave his fingers a flick.
The green flames shot out like lightning, landing upon the corpses of the ninjas.
"Poof!"
"Boom!"
In an instant, the bodies of the ninjas burst into blazing infernos.
The fire spread rapidly, engulfing every single corpse.
"Boom! Boom!"
Within a few breaths, all the bodies were reduced to ashes on the ground.
Zhao Feng's Yang Spirit slowly detached itself from Wang Dajiao's body. Deprived of Zhao Feng's control, Wang Dajiao crumpled limply to the ground.
"Ugh!"
"Blech...!"
Wang Dajiao began violently vomiting and purging, even though she was currently unconscious.
Zhao Feng glanced coldly at Wang Dajiao, turned around, and walked away.
"Whoosh!"
"Whoosh, whoosh!"
A gust of wind swept past, scattering the ashes across the sky, leaving behind a lingering stench.
Zhao Feng's Yang Spirit drifted forward, preparing to return to his physical body.
Suddenly, a pillar of red light illuminated the distant horizon.
The beam of light soared straight up into the heavens.
Such a phenomenon could only be witnessed in the state of a Yang Spirit; even an Yin Spirit lacked the perception for it.
To put it simply, an Yin Spirit could only confuse a person's sanity without the ability to control a physical body.
There was only one other way to witness such a spectacle.
That was to open the Heavenly Eyes while retaining one's physical form.
Zhao Feng looked in astonishment at the source of the red light. "What is happening over there?! What light is this?"
Without hesitation, Zhao Feng drove his Yang Spirit forward in a furious burst of speed, flying toward the source of the pillar of light.
