Night fell.

Everyone was asleep, and the Red Square had long since drifted off into slumber.

In Zhao Feng’s room, he sat cross-legged on the bed, holding a peculiar pose reminiscent of a celestial being from the Dunhuang murals.

"Hum!"
"Hum, hum!"

Wisps of green spiritual energy emerged from his body, glowing like sparks and illuminating the entire room.

Zhao Feng slowly opened his eyes. "Xiang Tao, we are finally going to meet!"
"Yet, now that I know you are by my side, I find I am no longer so eager to see you!"
"It seems my state of mind has undergone a significant change."

Zhao Feng ceased his cultivation and stood up from the bed. He slipped on his slippers and walked to the floor-to-ceiling window. Looking out at the distant white sands, the endless sea, and the glowing lights along the coast, he felt an unprecedented sense of serenity.

"Hoo!"

Zhao Feng exhaled slowly and closed his eyes. Suddenly, he snapped them open.

"Who is there?!"

He formed a hand seal and pointed toward the void. Instantly, a figure was forced out from the empty air. The figure was slender and appeared somewhat panicked. She wore traditional night-traveler garb, and her graceful silhouette betrayed her as a woman.

Upon being discovered, she sprang into the air, darting toward the darkness behind her, attempting to vanish into the night.

However, Zhao Feng reached out, and a green thread materialized. With a flick of his hand seal, the thread whipped out like a long lash, binding her.

"Ah!" the graceful woman cried out.

"Hmph!" Zhao Feng let out a cold snort and yanked his hand back, pulling her directly toward him.

"Ah!" She collided straight into Zhao Feng’s chest.

Zhao Feng sneered, "What are you doing skulking around my room?"

The graceful beauty seemed to blush. She replied, "I wasn't!"

"Still saying you weren't!" Zhao Feng reached out with his right hand and ripped off her veil. Instantly, a familiar face came into view.

"It’s you?!" Zhao Feng was astonished. "Li Ting?"

Indeed, it was the same Li Ting from the airplane.

Zhao Feng released her. "How did you get into my room? What are you here for?"

Li Ting seemed shy; her gaze darted about, stealing a glance at Zhao Feng, then dropping to his pectoral muscles. She swallowed hard.

Zhao Feng felt a bit awkward. "What are you looking at?"

Li Ting touched her nose. "Nothing, just... your scent is very pleasant."

Zhao Feng rolled his eyes. "What kind of talk is that!"

"Hehehe!" Li Ting gave an awkward laugh. "Nothing, it's nothing!"

Zhao Feng frowned. "You still haven't answered me. Why are you here?"

"Hmph!" Li Ting let out a petulant snort. "I came here to repay the debt of saving my life, of course!"

"Is this how you repay someone? You scared the life out of me!"

"I think you just have a guilty conscience!" Li Ting retorted sharply.

Zhao Feng reached out and flicked her on her smooth forehead.

"Ouch!" Li Ting covered her forehead and cried out in pain.

Zhao Feng waved his hand. "Alright, it's late. Go back now, and don't disturb my sleep!"

Li Ting’s eyes darted about mischievously. "But you were cultivating just now. I watched you for a long time!"

"What?!" Zhao Feng looked at her in surprise. "Just when did you arrive?!"

Li Ting gave a sheepish laugh, realizing she had let it slip. She shook her head. "Nothing, nothing!"

Zhao Feng stared at her for a moment, puzzled. "Strange. There is no fluctuation of spiritual energy within you; I cannot tell what level of Qi cultivation you are at."

Li Ting simply chuckled and avoided the subject. Zhao Feng had no interest in pursuing it; such trivial matters were not worth his concern, nor was he curious. He waved his hand impatiently. "Go on, leave while I’m still in a good mood!"

"Oh!" Li Ting replied, sounding disappointed, and turned to leave. Suddenly, she cried out, "Ouch!" and collapsed to the floor.

Zhao Feng hurried over to help her. "What happened?"

"I think I twisted my ankle!"

"Twisted it?"

"Yes!"

"Let me see."

Zhao Feng scooped the petite Li Ting up in a bridal carry.

"Thud!" He tossed her onto the bed.

Li Ting’s eyes filled with tears. "Couldn't you be a bit gentler?"

"Oh, right!" Zhao Feng rubbed his nose in embarrassment.

He crouched down gently and grabbed Li Ting’s left ankle. He pushed up her pant leg, revealing a fair, slender leg.

*So white,* Zhao Feng thought subconsciously.

"Hehehe!" Li Ting giggled. "Are you thinking about how white my legs are?"

Zhao Feng froze, then quickly shook his head in denial. "No, no!"

"Hehehe!" Li Ting laughed without speaking.

Zhao Feng rubbed his nose, thinking to himself, *Strange, how does she know what I’m thinking?*

"Hehehe!" Li Ting giggled again. "Now you’re thinking about how I know what you’re thinking!"

Zhao Feng became instantly alert, a terrifying thought surfacing: *Telepathy?!*

He stared at her in shock. "Do you possess the ability of telepathy?"

Li Ting quickly covered her red lips. "I didn't admit to anything!"

Zhao Feng stared at her for a moment, then shook his head and fell silent. He grabbed her left leg and examined it; it was indeed twisted. Her fair ankle was already red and swollen. He moved it slightly. "Does it hurt?"

"Sss! A little!"

Zhao Feng nodded and manipulated the ankle again. "How about this?"

"Sss! That hurts!"

Zhao Feng shook his head. "There is no other way, I’ll have to use acupuncture."

Li Ting was surprised. "Acupuncture?"

"Yes."

"Will that work?"

Zhao Feng rolled his eyes. "Don't you have telepathy? Why don't you guess if it will work?"

"I..." Li Ting was left speechless. She glared at him. "You’re so petty!"

Zhao Feng smiled and said nothing. He only wanted to drive this mysterious woman away; with someone capable of telepathy by his side, all his secrets would be exposed.

At that moment, Zhao Feng employed a secret technique taught to him by his senior sister to prevent Li Ting from reading his thoughts.

Li Ting looked surprised. "Why can't I hear your thoughts anymore?"

Zhao Feng grinned. "Guess!"

"Hmph! Fine, don't tell me!"

Zhao Feng didn't respond. He held her long leg. *So straight!*

He glanced upward, and as he did, he noticed that Li Ting, despite her petite, five-foot-five frame and slender build, possessed an impressively maternal bosom. She was the type of woman who was very thin but blessed with voluptuous feminine features—a figure that was equally attractive.
