Here are a few rules I’ve set for myself:

1. From now on, as long as there hasn’t been a break in updates exceeding ten days, I will not request leave in any form, nor will I use leave as a way to stretch out the consecutive update count.
2. All future side stories of "Girlfriend" will be released as extra chapters. That is, there will be no side story updates unless the main story is also being updated (side stories will remain free for all to enjoy).

I’ve also thought of some ways to interact and engage with everyone, and I hope you’ll all take an active part:

1. Free flowers—if the total number of flowers readers send in a month exceeds one hundred, I’ll add a chapter, and so on for every hundred! This isn’t per person; so long as the total reaches one hundred, there will be an extra update.
2. Chapter and plot discussions—if you have any questions about the content or storyline, feel free to leave a message in the comment section. If there’s a question I can’t answer, I may offer a free chapter or a KB reward as appropriate. Likewise, if your discussions or viewpoints are particularly valuable, you’ll be rewarded as well. In other words, as long as you actively participate, you might just make me spend more!
3. VIP tickets and red envelopes—the persistently low popularity has been tough on me, especially faced with rampant piracy, typing and updating in silence… I hope you’ll support Xingyuan and "My Fiery Girlfriend" with your votes; for every fifty VIP tickets, there will be an extra chapter, and for every five-yuan red envelope, there will be an extra chapter and a free one as well.
