The icon had originally shown only a single skeleton. Now, quietly, it had become two.
The two skeletons stood side by side. The one on the right had not changed much, but the one on the left was unmistakably holding a bow and arrows!

“There are finally ranged skeletons.”
Looking at the skill description, Su Mubai was overjoyed.
Those five gold coins had been incredibly well spent!
The skeleton army had made short work of the Mistwood Tree Serpent King earlier, but that had been entirely because of the boss’s enormous size.
If the boss had been smaller, the skeleton army could never have killed it so quickly.
Even landing a single blow on the boss would have required them to stand in line.
Now that he had skeleton archers, his army’s composition was no longer so monotonous.

Su Mubai waved his staff and activated the skill.

A pale-gray vortex appeared, and a skeleton warrior and a skeleton archer emerged from it side by side.

Compared with their previous forms, the attributes of the two skeleton soldiers had not changed. Even their innate skills remained at E-rank.
However, after acquiring their respective classes, both had gained attribute bonuses.
The skeleton warrior’s attack had increased by 50%, while its health had risen by 20%.
As for the skeleton archer, its panel did not display attributes such as attack speed or movement speed.
Yet from the description, it was clear that the latter was certainly faster than the former.
Looking at both panels, Su Mubai nodded in satisfaction.
His army of disaster was finally beginning to look like a proper force!
“Fight independently!”
With a thought, he issued the command. The two skeletons immediately began moving, one behind the other.
At the start, the skeleton archer was clearly much faster, but it soon deliberately slowed down, allowing the skeleton warrior to charge ahead.
Farther in front of them, the more than twenty skeletons he had summoned earlier had already found the correct path and made contact with the monsters in the dungeon.

Without any potions, Su Mubai could only wait for his mana to recover naturally.
Fortunately, his Spirit attribute was high enough. It did not take long for the original twenty-odd skeletons to be completely replaced.

The goblins had less health than the two previous types of monsters, but their attack was higher.
That made little difference before the skeleton army, however.
A skeleton warrior killed one in three strikes, while a skeleton archer needed four arrows per goblin.
The latter’s attack speed was roughly 30% faster than the former’s, so its damage output was actually somewhat higher.
Once they used their skills, the goblins were utterly powerless to resist.
Even the dense fog permeating the entire forest was completely ineffective against the enormous skeleton army.
The dropped items were collected by skeletons assigned specifically to the task.
Once his summoning capacity was full, Su Mubai suddenly realized that he had become a complete hands-off manager. There was absolutely nothing left for him to do.
A dungeon with a difficulty level worthy of hell had somehow been turned by Su Mubai into a leisurely spring outing.
He simply opened the chat channel, scanning for any noteworthy information while hurrying to catch up with the main force.
The chat channel was one of the basic functions of the Worlds Game. At present, Su Mubai could access only the Nearby channel and the Number 9527 Newbie Village channel.
If he formed a party, a Party channel would appear as well.
