Chapter Thirty-Five: I Am the Master
Mo Nianian had given up on running away. That bastard Jiang Hu must have been planning this for ages; his arrangements were meticulous, leaving not a single loophole to exploit.
She waited in silence for the moment she could finally leave.
The room was empty, devoid of any distractions, and Mo Nianian was consumed by boredom.
That bastard—just thinking about him made her furious. She truly could not bear to stay another minute.
After a while, her expression shifted slightly as she suddenly remembered something important. Previously, Jiang Hu would always remember to unchain her and take her to the restroom. It was mortifying, yes, but at least her physical needs were taken care of.
But today... clearly, both of them had forgotten.
After what had just occurred, Mo Nianian wanted nothing to do with Jiang Hu, nor could she bring herself to ask for such an embarrassing favor.
She tried to endure.
But this mortal body was so weak—she held it in for a while, but the urgency only grew worse.
Caught between disgracing herself in bed and calling for Jiang Hu, she was forced to choose the latter.
Knowing there were cameras in the room, Mo Nianian called out to one, her voice cold, "Get in here."
It wasn’t long before Jiang Hu walked in, his eyes bright with amusement. "Sister, did you call for me?"
Mo Nianian took a deep breath. "Unlock it. I need to use the restroom."
"Oh~" He sounded disappointed. "So that's why you called me."
"If you hadn't mentioned it, I would have forgotten," he said, moving languidly, making no effort to hurry.
Mo Nianian was reaching her limit. She raised her voice. "Hurry up!"
Damn it. When she got out, she swore she’d kill this bastard.
"Sister... beg me. If you beg, I’ll let you go," Jiang Hu said, a wicked smile on his lips.
Mo Nianian was stunned—she had never encountered someone so shameless.
Jiang Hu pondered for a moment. "Or, you could just give me a kiss."
Her face flushed scarlet. "Get lost! Just get out!"
She would rather die of embarrassment than beg him for anything.
Fuming, Mo Nianian had nowhere to vent her anger.
Jiang Hu sighed theatrically. "Alright, if you won’t kiss me, then I’ll do it myself."
With that, he pressed her down and stole another lingering, passionate kiss.
He bit her lip gently, only releasing her when she was on the verge of losing all composure.
She was nearly breathless from rage and humiliation.
No one could stop her now. If she didn’t kill Jiang Hu today, she would have no face left to return.
Jiang Hu reached out and gently wiped the corner of her mouth, leaning close to whisper in her ear, "If you won’t do it, then I will."
He softly licked her earlobe before finally releasing the chain that bound her to the head of the bed, then lifted her in his arms and carried her to the restroom.
"Do you need any help, Sister?" he asked, standing at the door, his eyes glinting with anticipation.
Mo Nianian slammed the door in his face.
She couldn’t hold it any longer.
Never in her life had she suffered such humiliation.
Ahhh! All because of that bastard!
She lingered despondently in the restroom, unwilling to come out.
This pervert had even sealed this place tight; apart from the door, there was nowhere to escape.
He clearly had no fear that she would suddenly disappear.
Yet, even now, he wasn’t fully at ease. He knocked gently on the door. "Sister, are you done? I can help, you know."
Mo Nianian opened the door with a cold expression.
Jiang Hu swept her up in his arms again, inhaling deeply as if intoxicated by her scent, his eyes filled with obsession.
Truly, he was no different from a madman.
Perhaps because he had gotten his fill of mischief, Jiang Hu was in an exceptionally good mood. Carrying her outside, he said, "The sun is lovely today. Would you like to see it?"
He took her past the door that had been her prison.
Outside, the sun shone brightly.
Mo Nianian didn’t recognize this place, nor did she know when Jiang Hu had arranged all this.
He gave her a quick kiss, his eyes filled with delight. "Do you like it?"
It was a surprise he had been preparing for her ever since he bought the place. But fate had taken an unexpected turn, and so she had seen it in this way.
Mo Nianian gave no response.
If she killed Jiang Hu, the entire little world would vanish along with him. It wasn’t worth it. She decided to let it go.
Jiang Hu carried her around the villa, introducing the inspiration behind each section as they passed.
Everything had been designed to suit her preferences.
This was his gift to her, a home crafted for Mo Nianian.
Truthfully, if she set aside everything else, she had to admit it was to her taste.
But, alas, it was a gift from that bastard, and so, in her eyes, its value plummeted.
"Sister, look, every flower in this little garden comes from all over the world, every one your favorite kind."
"In time, you can paint and admire the flowers here."
Mo Nianian’s face remained cold. "Sorry, I’m not interested."
The smile at Jiang Hu’s lips faded a little. "If you don’t like painting, that’s fine. We can do something fun instead."
He leaned in, biting her earlobe again. "You’ll like it, I promise."
His breath brushed hot against her cheek.
Mo Nianian felt like a soulless corpse, lying limp and unmoving.
Jiang Hu’s interest only grew. He continued to tease her ears, kissing the spot just behind.
He discovered she was especially sensitive there.
Sure enough, no matter how blank her expression, her body responded; from her ears to her neck and cheeks, a blush spread like rouge, making her skin glow invitingly.
Mo Nianian couldn’t stand it any longer. She slapped Jiang Hu hard. "Are you ever going to stop?"
Ahhh! This bastard! Maybe it was best just to kill him and let the little world be damned.
[Host, calm down!]
[Calm down? You—]
A string of system-filtered curses was enough to show just how agitated Mo Nianian was.
The system spoke timidly: [Host, I should be able to wrap things up in about six hours. Please try to hold on…]
Mo Nianian took a deep breath, grinding her teeth. [Are you sure it’s six hours?]
[…Pretty sure… Yes, definitely sure.] The system, eager for survival, changed its tune immediately.
[Alright… If I’m still here after six hours, the mission can go to hell.]
It was only a little world—she could destroy it if she had to.
The system quietly slipped away again.
"Sister, I miss you so much I’m going crazy. I can’t live without you." His eyes were filled with sick obsession as he nuzzled into her neck.
He took a deep breath; even that wasn’t enough for him anymore.
He wanted more—he wanted to be closer to her.
"Get off," Mo Nianian said, pushing him away, but Jiang Hu only seized her hand, enraptured.
