Glancing at the archer hiding behind Huang Kun, Huang Huaming roared angrily, "You’re the one at fault here!"

"Hmph, don't deny it! Brother Huang is right here, you can't refute him!"

"Enough!" Huang Kun shouted furiously, grabbing the archer behind him and throwing him to the ground. Then he said, "Detain these two! As for who’s right or wrong, I’ll investigate thoroughly."

With that, Huang Kun pointed and declared loudly, "And you, Zhao Nan, you’re also a suspect. Come with me; I want to get to the bottom of this!"

At the same time, the archer and Huang Huaming were already being apprehended.

"You’d better cooperate. If the investigation clears you, I’ll release you," Huang Kun added at the end.

Zhao Nan raised an eyebrow and sneered, "On what grounds are you detaining me?"

"Eating people is a grave taboo, and this trend cannot be allowed to spread," Huang Kun said calmly. "If there’s suspicion, I can’t let it go! If you’re innocent, what do you have to fear from an investigation?"

Zhao Nan chuckled, "If you want to investigate, do it right here. Why take me away?"

"This place isn’t safe," Huang Kun frowned.

Zhao Nan smiled lightly, patted Olysseus, and the sky dragon soared into the air, letting out a powerful roar. Instantly, all the monsters on the street trembled and crouched down, lowly moaning. Even the players felt their defenses severely weakened.

"Now it’s safe enough," Zhao Nan said calmly.

Huang Kun’s expression changed. He couldn’t tell if Olysseus was real or an illusion, but the ability to silence the surrounding monsters with a single roar was too strange. Looking at the two captured men, he hesitated before saying, "It’s hard to tell right and wrong, and there’s no evidence. It’s difficult to discern."

Zhao Nan sneered, "You’ve already confronted me face to face. Is there a better way?"

"I have a secret treasure that can detect lies," Huang Kun snorted coldly. "We can test whether you’re lying!"

As he spoke, the archer suddenly trembled. His fear was obvious even to those holding him. Huang Huaming, however, appeared calm and unafraid.

Huang Kun ignored this and addressed Zhao Nan loudly, "So, cooperate. After all, I have some friendship with Lin Yu. For his sake, I don’t want to make things difficult for you."

"A secret treasure to test lies?" Zhao Nan suddenly laughed, "May I ask what it is?"

Huang Kun frowned, "You ask too many questions! Just say yes or no—will you come or not? Don’t make me use force!"

By now, Huang Kun’s intentions were clear. Zhao Nan was no fool and quickly grasped the plan—to take this opportunity to bring him along.

"Coincidentally, I also have a secret treasure that can detect lies… Mr. Huang Kun, are you interested in trying it now?" Zhao Nan shook his head.

"Hmph, it’s yours. How do I know it’s reliable?" Huang Kun said coldly.

"And since it’s yours, how do I know it’s foolproof?" Zhao Nan retorted with a smile.

"You..." Huang Kun took a deep breath. "One last time: will you come willingly, or do I have to have you dragged?"

"You say this place isn’t safe, but I can make it safe here. You say you don’t have a secret treasure, but I can provide one... Huang Kun, honest people do not hide their intentions. Just say what you’re really after, and I might still respect you. Now, you’re less than a clown," Zhao Nan sneered.

Huang Kun laughed coldly and waved his hand, "This man has a large supply of food. If we capture him, we’ll be well fed! Attack!"

"Archers, focus on that airborne monster!"

"Sages and priests, get ready!"

"Archers, prepare!"

"Melee, advance!"

Huang Kun’s forces were instantly ready for attack. After the fall of Listening Wind City, they had long been hunting monsters together and now moved like a well-trained army.

Brilliant skills soared into the sky, and whistling arrows shot toward Zhao Nan!

"Ice Crystal Walls times two!"

"Flash Wind Wings!"

Facing the dense barrage of arrows, Zhao Nan quickly increased his speed, performing incredible dodges.

"Rock Armor!"

Clad in hard armor, Zhao Nan bent forward and dodged swiftly through the arrows. He couldn’t avoid all of them, but the ones that hit him clanged off his armor. The Rock Armor’s defense was based on his own defense; though his HP was fixed, the archers’ attacks barely harmed it!

"Double Spiral Spin times two!"

Zhao Nan pressed his hands back, releasing two spiraling gusts from his sides onto the ground behind him, the recoil propelling him swiftly into midair.

Olysseus roared fiercely, enduring the continuous magical attacks, swimming over to catch Zhao Nan.

One man and one dragon in the air—melee attackers below lost their target. Melee skills had limited range, leaving only mages and archers to attack.

Huang Kun frowned and shouted, "Taunt!"

Several knights beside him roared, raising their swords high. Beams of light flashed out, forcing Olysseus downward.

"Naive, ordinary knights dare to use taunt!"

Zhao Nan pointed his staff; two massive magic circles unfolded in the air, unleashing a terrifying number of fireballs.

Against these foes who hadn’t reached level 20 before the fall and couldn’t advance afterward, Zhao Nan’s level 20 area attacks were more than enough!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The fireballs landed near the knights, who couldn’t move under taunt, forced to endure the blasts.

Damage numbers floated in the air.

Like a bomber, Zhao Nan rode the sky dragon, holding absolute air superiority. With continuous twin attacks in his copied state, he blasted half the street brilliantly.

"Damn... how can he be this terrifying?" Huang Kun’s eyes widened.

A mere mage able to fly—how could he be this formidable?

"No, he’s definitely a hidden class, and a powerful one at that!" Huang Kun gritted his teeth and shouted, "Assemble! All mages, activate defensive skills! No matter how strong his attacks, he can’t break through twenty or thirty people’s defenses!"

The crowd hurried to gather around Huang Kun, mages casting walls of ice, earth, and wind from the ground, forming a shell like a turtle’s. Archers fired through gaps.

Clang! Clang!

"Damn, that monster’s defense is so high!"

"And his speed’s terrifying! Apart from guided arrows, nothing hits him!"

"Damn it, he’s alone! There’s no way we can’t handle him. Hold on; let’s see who breaks first! I refuse to believe his mana won’t run out!"

"No, he can buy mana potions from other cities. Even if all of us combine forces, few can survive as long as he does!"

"Enough shouting!" Huang Kun fumed, cursing, "Are you trying to boost his morale and kill our own? Think about what he’s carrying—if we capture him, it’s all ours! Get your spirits up!"

Rumbling!

The sound of attacks accompanied Huang Kun’s shouts, loud and fierce. They didn’t know that besides his huge stock of potions, Zhao Nan had a mana source constantly replenishing him. No matter how long he cast spells non-stop, as long as his stamina held out, he wouldn’t stop.

After level 25, he had over 80 skills, with no cooldown between spell casts!

Though many were unpracticed, his twin attacks in copied state were nearly as powerful as a single mastered skill.

Thanks to Olysseus’s speed, archers posed no threat, and Zhao Nan’s relentless attacks gradually wore down the mages’ defenses. The cooldowns on defensive spells meant Huang Kun’s mages couldn’t keep up, lacking abilities like ancient arcanists who halve cooldown times.

"Disaster! Alan’s side can’t hold much longer; who can support him?"

"My Ice Crystal Wall needs ten seconds to recharge!"

"Damn, those monsters are attacking again!"

"What?!"

Huang Kun’s eyes widened. Through gaps in the crowd, waves of monsters began to encircle them.

Olysseus’s dragon aura effect had ended! Under Zhao Nan’s command, it wasn’t suppressing the street monsters now. Freed, the monsters stirred restlessly.

"No! He’s pinning us down from above... we’ll be overwhelmed by monsters sooner or later! Brother Huang, maybe we should surrender!"

"Yeah, everything’s negotiable..."

Faced with their cowardice, Huang Kun cursed silently. But openly scolding them now would only weaken his authority. He looked up at Zhao Nan amidst the glowing spells.

This was no longer just about a hidden class—it was a matter of level. This man clearly wasn’t limited to Listening Wind City’s current max level of 20!

"Wait, Brother Huang, this guy’s with him!" Suddenly, someone pointed at the captured Huang Huaming excitedly. "We can negotiate with them!"

Huang Kun raised an eyebrow, clearly agreeing.

Just then, a silver streak shot down like a meteor, crashing violently into the mages’ defense.

The silver light tore through the defense net without resistance. A figure flashed down, crashing to the ground with a terrifying shockwave that sent nearby people flying.

Huang Kun rolled on the ground and barely got up when he saw Huang Huaming grabbed by the arm and lifted high. The red monster lunged forward and caught him squarely.

Zhao Nan laughed heartily, having waited long enough.

Finina had arrived!
